Hasit has 24 years of progressive & diversified experience in life insurance industry including 10 years of brokerage underwriting & 10 years of underwriting for captive agents as well as reinsurance experience, auditing and risk assessment of the life expectancy estimates for life settlement cases, And since 2016, as CEO of his own consulting and educational services firm.
Hasit has underwritten for Allstate, AIG, Bankers Life, Coventry, EMSI, IBU, LBL, LFG, LIC, Protective Life, State Farm, USAA and Zurich – either directly or being the clients of IBU or EMSI.
His brokerage underwriting experience includes quick quotes, medical quotes, formal and informal/trial apps submitted by CRUMP, Total Financial, AIN, Marsh, WFG and various other BGA’s.
As a Life Underwriting Consultant, Hasit has consistently demonstrated above and beyond being a strong technical underwriter and referral underwriter for second signature & review for less experienced underwriters.
Hasit has earned his EKG certification from a Cardiologist while working for Zurich Life; has had highest score in EKG test at Bankers Life; and was reviewing abnormal EKG’s for less experienced underwriters at LBL – MBA (Master Broker Agents) channel.
Hasit has been the back up for Chief Underwriters from time to time to conduct meetings and or field visits for formal presentations to educate and train the field partners and or when they visit home office for the training.
Hasit has been the active contributor in variety of group projects throughout his career such as – continuous improvement project from submission to commission to streamline the process, re-draft of the entire life app, NAIC policy illustration – just to name a few.
